This vintage Suzuki Nagoya Model 1663 Classical Guitar was designed by the well respected maker 'Ryoji Matsuoka' and are very sought after by collectors and players for their amazing tone.
They were built by hand to a very good standard in the days when Suzuki really led the way in craftsmanship.
There are plenty scuffs, scrapes and a few painted in lacquer spots accumulated over the last 40- 50 years but nothing that affects the playability,... it just adds to its patina and charm.
However, the nut on the low E string's slot has eroded away leaving it deeper than it was causing the string to buzz against the frets. But it has been temporarily resolved by placing a small plastic piece in to fill the gap to alleviate the problem.
